oven in Naples, Italy, grab a table at No. 28 Carmine, the new authentic
Neapolitan pizza parlor in Greenwich Village. There chef Salvatore
Olivella, who hails from Naples, where pizza originated and was born into a
family whose been making pizza for 60 years, serves pizza in a class by
itself. Every bite indulges the senses of his native country.
No. 28 Carmine is the inspiration of Rolando Biamonte, a former lawyer and
also a southern Italian native, whose family's been in the restaurant
business for years. Biamonte relocated to the U.S. just a few years ago and
