Dialysis patients who rely primarily on Medicaid receive inadequate
coverage to meet their needs in the Sunshine State, according to a report
card released today at a press conference at the Capitol in Tallahassee.
The "Dialysis Day" report card indicates that current Medicaid coverage for
dialysis patients only covers approximately 55 percent of the costs of
providing care, which is adversely impacting patients' ability to access
