Goalkeeper Rogerio Ceni scored his seventh goal of the season to lead Sao Paulo to a 5-1 rout of rival Corinthians in the Brazilian championship on Sunday.

Defending champion Santos, Botafogo and Fluminense all won their matches to remain atop the standings with nine points each from three matches.

Sao Paulo scored three goals in the first 16 minutes at Morumbi stadium in Sao Paulo to hand struggling Corinthians its third consecutive loss and increase scrutiny of Argentine coach Daniel Passarella.
