Huatai Securities Takes over Asia Securities
SHANGHAI, May 09, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Asia Securities, one of the nationwide comprehensive securities firms with its headquarterslocated in Shanghai, will be taken over by Huatai Securities Co., Ltd, one of the first batch of comprehensive securities firms approved by China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), said the source on April 29.
It is said that the clerks in Asia Securities' headquarters were busy with the takeover in the afternoon on April 29 so that Huatai Securities will start to enter later, and client funds in its brokage business is safe, said the insiders.
