D.C. -- Congressman Paul Gillmor (R-OH), chairman of the House Energy and
Commerce Subcommittee on Environment and Hazardous Materials, today announced
the release of a study he commissioned by the General Accountability Office
(GAO) on the state of lead within the drinking water within the District
of Columbia (GAO-05-344). Gillmor had asked the GAO on March 15, 2004,
