(The Heights) (U-WIRE) CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- As the semester winds down, students seem to be rushing into Boston to purchase their latest party costume rather than preparing for the end-of-the-year academic crunch. Theme parties -- parties for which students dress up according to a particular theme -- seem to be getting popular all over again.
"I think it might actually have a lot to do with the fact that Boston College isn't the typical party school," said Joanne Saglimbeni. "There are no fraternities or sororities and a lack of university-thrown parties, which leaves the students wanting to throw their own. It's new and exciting basically."
