Statement of Mr. Terry Madden Chief Executive Officer, U.S. Anti-Doping
Agency Committee on Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation May 24,
2005 Mr. Chairman, members of the committee, good morning. My name is Terry
Madden and I am the CEO of the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA).
I want to thank this committee for its long- standing interest in clean
sport and for the opportunity to testify this morning. USADA has been recognized
by Congress as the independent, national anti-doping agency for Olympic
