A Malaysian man has pleaded innocent after becoming this country's first person to be charged with an offense related to Internet pornography, a newspaper reported Sunday.

Cell phone salesman Lim Puay Huat, 21, was charged Saturday with having a laptop computer containing a movie taken from a pornographic Web site, the Sunday Star reported.

The computer, at Lim's shop in Kuala Lumpur, allegedly contained the movie in 3GP _ a video format that can be played on cell phones _ the newspaper said.

Lim pleaded innocent to a charge of possessing material taken from a pornographic Web site, the report said. He could be jailed up to five years ...
