FBI agents are helping Pakistani security agencies investigate a suicide attack at a Shiite Muslim shrine on the outskirts of Islamabad that killed 20 people, a news report said Wednesday.
The News reported that FBI agents attended a meeting called by authorities Tuesday to review progress of the probe into the May 27 attack at the Bari Imam shrine, the burial place of an Islamic saint. The report did not elaborate on the FBI's role.
Officials at the U.S. Embassy were not immediately available for comment Wednesday.
