Alex Cabrera hit a two-run homer in the first inning Thursday to lead the Seibu Lions to a 4-1 win over the Yakult Swallows in interleague play.
Cabrera connected off Yakult starter Ryo Kawashima with a blast into the right field stands at Invoice Seibu Dome. It was Cabrera's 13th homer of the season.
Seibu veteran Fumiya Nishiguchi picked up the win after holding the Swallows to six hits over six scoreless innings. Kiyoshi Toyoda retired the side in the top of the ninth for his 14th save of the season.
Seibu rookie Koji Tahara hit a solo shot in the bottom of the fifth for his first career homer.
