Fed: Offshore tax evasion scheme uncovered
Authorities say they have uncovered a $300 million offshore tax evasion scheme involving
rich individuals across four Australian states in the largest, multi-agency investigation
of its kind.
Operation Wickenby, which began in October last year with 285 personnel, involved the
Australian Crime Commission, the Australian Taxation Office and the Australian Federal
Police.
During the past two days the ACC raided 48 properties in New South Wales, Western Australia,
