Analysis: Today's US Supreme Court decision that cable companies do not have to share their high-speed Internet lines with rival companies

Finally, a decision on a case known as Brand X. It hasn't gotten much media attention, but consumer advocates say the decision could have an enormous impact. They say it will mean higher prices for high-speed Internet service, and they warn that consumers may not have the same degree of open access to the Internet. The cable companies involved in the case say exactly the opposite. NPR's Laura Sydell reports.
