A suicide bomber blew himself up near a crowded shopping mall in a seaside Israeli city Tuesday, killing himself and two other people, police said _ the first such bombing attack in Israel since February.

Police said the militant Islamic Jihad, which is not following the truce, was behind the bombing, identifying the suicide attacker as an 18-year-old from a nearby West Bank village.

Israeli Cabinet Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer also blamed Islamic Jihad, saying the attack was "an attempt to sabotage Israel's pullout from Gaza."

About 30 people were wounded in the blast, two seriously, police said. ...
