Fed: Common drug diminishes a person's driving ability: study

BRISBANE, July 18 AAP - A commonly-prescribed medication, often abused by recreational
drug users and truckies, diminishes a person's driving ability even at low doses, Australian
research has found.

PhD student Beata Silber, of Melbourne's Swinburne University of Technology, tested
20 occasional drug users on a driving simulator - once when they were given Dexamphetamine
and also when they were taking a placebo, or dummy tablet.
