NSW: Service of hope held for families of missing persons
SYDNEY, July 26 AAP - A church service of hope and remembrance will be held in Sydney's
south on Sunday to mark the beginning of National Missing Persons Week.
NSW Police received 9,335 reports of missing persons across the state between July
1, 2004 and June 2005.
Inspector Jeff Emery of the Missing Persons Unit said the annual service held in Arncliffe
on July 31 would heighten community awareness of the difficulties faced by families and
friends of those missing.
