Article: U.S. report warns of illegal drug trade's dangers to Eastern Caribbean

A United States report on the international drugs trade has warned Eastern
Caribbean governments that money laundering, drug trafficking, violent
crime and intimidation have the potential to threaten the stability of
these small democratic states.

The 2005 International Narcotics Control Strategy Report (INCS), issued by
the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, stated
that drug trafficking and related crimes "to varying degrees, have damaged
civil society in some of these countries".
