In the six years that Del. Bobby Zirkin (D-Baltimore County) has served in
the Maryland General Assembly, he has distinguished himself by his all-out
advocacy for children, especially juvenile delinquents.
"I am passionate about kids in general," Zirkin said. "But when you look at
those in the juvenile justice system, it touches your heart because you
have the most at-risk kids. They're right on the fence. They're either
going to get back on track or they're going to end up in jail."
He continued, "If you can't get passionate about getting these kids back on
track, then you can't get passionate about anything else as far as I'm
concerned."
