Freshman Congressman, Piyush 'Bobby' Jindal, who last month completed 100
days in Congress, said, "It has been a great experience so far."
The Louisiana Republican said he was proud that in this short period he had
authored a bill that had been adopted with unanimous support in the House
and Senate.
In an exclusive interview with India Abroad, he said he was strongly
opposed to President George W Bush's decision to sell F-16 fighter aircraft
to Pakistan and had co-sponsored a bill authored by Democratic co-chair of
the India Caucus Gary Ackerman to condition military aid to Pakistan.
