A distinguished panel of African American leaders left no stones unturned
as they discussed severe topics that concern Black males as part of the
many activities held during the "15th annual California Capitol City Black
Expo 2005" at Cal Expo last week. The seminar, titled, "The State of Black
Men," was held during the first day of the three-day Black History
Showcase. Moderated by Dr. Marion Woods, a trailblazer in the field of
social services and human rights, the powerful seminar addressed issues in
areas such as law enforcement, education, business and health, that have
crippled the upward progress of Black men in America.
