Lenovo Group Sees Hope to Take Over IBM's PC Sector in Taiwan

TAIWAN, Jul 27, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Lenovo Group, the world's third largest personal computer maker, will likely get go-aheads to acquire IBM's PC operations in Taiwan.Grown from a small PC supplier in the Chinese mainland, Lenovo Group finished its acquisition for the PC sector of US-based IBM in May 2005. However, Taiwan is a sensitive region for China as a historical matter of its civil war, which ended in 1949.
