Article: Neutral umpires to stand at one-day Pakistan-England cricket series

Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Shaharyar Khan said Monday that neutral umpires will officiate at a five-match one-day series between Pakistan and England later this year.

"We have obtained the approval of the England and Wales Cricket Board that neutral umpires would not only officiate in the three-test series but would also stand in the one-day series," Khan told reporters.

England will play three test matches and five one-day internationals during its Oct. 26-Dec 22 Pakistan tour.

The game's governing body _ the International Cricket Council, or ICC _ usually appoints neutral umpires ...
