KUALA LUMPUR, Sat. - Avtaran Singh is particular about picture and sound

quality as well as the cosmetics when it comes to choosing a new TV.
He does not mind paying for the best. The lawyer spent RM10,000 for a

plasma TV last year.

He is now eyeing an LCD TV, which generally costs more than a plasma TV.

This time, however, he is holding on to his wallet. He believes the

prices of LCD TVs will drop soon. He is wise to wait.
