CHAN Chong Ming and Koo Kien Keat produced THE performance of their short
partnership to stun third seeds and All-England champions Fu Haifeng-Cai
Yun to advance to the World Championships quarter-finals on a day when
five other Malaysian pairs were sent packing at the Arrowhead Pond of
Anaheim on Thursday.
From an impressive six pairs at the start of the day, Chong Ming- Kien
Keat, the ninth seeds, were the only ones still in the championships by
the time they stepped on court. But they rose to the occasion, beating
the China pair 11-15, 15-4, 15-8.
