Tuesday, August 16, 2005 -- United Mizrahi Bank's first-half net profit rose 4.2 percent but was held back by expenses related to its amalgamation with Bank Tefahot.

The company said Monday that net profit in the six months ending June 30 rose to NIS 247 million from NIS 237m. in the same period a year earlier.
