Thursday, August 25, 2005 -- Alon Israel Oil's second-quarter net profit almost tripled to NIS 155 million. from NIS 67m. in the same period a year earlier, as a rise in contributions from its energy assets offset a small loss at its food division.
The company said on Wednesday that in the three months ending June 30, sales rose to NIS 4.6 billion from NIS 3.53b. and that operating profit rose to NIS 348m. from NIS 264m.
