BORK: Thank you. As far as the verb is concerned, I don't mind
the fact that my name has become a verb. It's one form of immortality.
You all recall Captain Boycott, Captain Lynch and Hobson of Hobson's choice?
Hobson ran a stable in London a couple of centuries ago. And
when you went to rent a horse, you got the one nearest the door, and that
was it. So that became known as "Hobson's Choice."
Well, if I'm about to join that company of men, that's all right.
