FERRARI has always had a 2+2 model in its lineup and the last one, the

456, is actually more than a decade old.
Though the 456 is still as handsome as ever, it has to bow out in

favour of the new aluminium bodied 612 Scalietti.

Named after Sergio Scaglietti, a stylist and coachbuilder in Modena who

excels in sculpting aluminium (his company is now owned by Ferrari), the

612 is built on an aluminium semi-spaceframe which helps to make the

whole car light despite having enough room to be a proper 2+2 and the

ability to reach nearly 320km/h.
