John L. Procope, son of the late John L. Procope, Sr. and Edith Dinkins
succumbed to complications of pneumonia on Friday, July 15, 2005. In his
loving memory, on Friday, July 29, 2005, family and friends celebrated his
life at a memorial service at The Riverside Church. The dignified morning
service was presided over by The Reverend Dr. James A. Forbes, Jr., Senior
Minister of The Riverside Church. Dr. Forbes was assisted by The Rev. Dr.
Syl Shannon; The Rev. Linda Tarry-Chard; and The Reverend Spencer Gibbs.
Mr. Procope's noble commemorative service was attended by the who's who in
the world of politics, business and entertainment. During the ...
