Buffalo Sabres no more, Miroslav Satan and Alexei Zhitnik walked into the hotel lobby Tuesday as visitors in a town they once called home.
Still teammates _ but now for the New York Islanders _ Satan and Zhitnik will have the unique opportunity of opening the season with their new team against their old one.
"I'm going to be fine," Zhitnik said, noting it's been 18 months since the workhorse defenseman last wore a Sabres uniform. "It wasn't like yesterday."
Satan's a little more anxious about Wednesday's game.
