(Massachusetts Daily Collegian) (U-WIRE) AMHERST, Mass. -- When he moved into the Howard Johnson Inn at the start of the semester, Brandon Rawnsley expected he'd be living in a dorm within the month.
"When I called, they said one or two weeks [in the hotel] at most, and then you'd be gone," said Rawnsley, a sophomore English and Philosophy major at the University of Massachusetts who transferred this year from the College of Wooster in Ohio.
However, Rawnsley is one of 59 University of Massachusetts students who will spend the remainder of the fall semester living in the local Howard Johnson.
