And joining us now is Dahlia Lithwick. She's legal analyst for the online magazine Slate and for DAY TO DAY.
And, Dahlia, you listened in on that conversation. We just heard how upset Judge Bork and other conservatives are over the Miers nomination and yet elated over John Roberts. And from my understanding, he was also pretty mum about his views, sort of the Cheshire cat at his confirmation hearings. Why do you think there's a difference?
