Apple Computer Inc. _ the company that revolutionized the way people listen to music with the popular iPod _ is trying to do the same with video.
The company introduced a new iPod on Wednesday that is capable of playing everything from TV shows to music videos.
Apple chief executive Steve Jobs said U.S. iPod users will be able to purchase episodes of the popular TV series "Desperate Housewives" and "Lost" for $1.99 (euro1.66) each the day after they air on television. He cited a groundbreaking deal with the ABC Television Group.
