PHILADELPHIA--The Polish American Cultural Center Museum, in cooperation
with the Polish American Congress, Eastern Pennsylvania District, is
sponsoring a poetry contest as part of National Polish American Heritage
Month observations this October.

In honor of the 150th anniversary of the death of Adam Mickiewicz, Poland's
epic poet, the Heritage Month Committee has selected the theme,
"Recognizing Polish Poets." In keeping with this theme, it invites you to
participate in a poetry contest.

Poetry Contest Guidelines:

Applicants must be from grades 6 through 8

All poems should be between 12 and 20 lines in length
