NASHVILLE -- Tennessee State University is hosting several well-known
guests along with faculty and staff members at the first-ever Blue and
White All-Star Academy Awards August 13. Media pioneer Xernona Clayton is
the honoree for the event, which celebrates TSU's all-star programs while
raising funds for scholarships.

United States Representative Maxine Waters is among the prominent figures
lined up to attend the awards dinner at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel.
