ICBC's Personal Loans Top CNY 500bn

BEIJING, Oct 24, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- The Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, the country's largest lender in terms of assets, announces that by the end of this September, its personal loans had exceeded the threshold of CNY 500 billion (USD 1 = CNY 8.091).

Zhang Furong, deputy governor of ICBC, reveals that the bank's personal loans reached CNY 500.9 billion, accounting for 16.8 of all kinds of loans, while the home loan amounts to 85 of total personal loans.
