Franchise Program for 2008 Beijing Olympic Games Starts
BEIJING, Nov 09, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- The franchise program for 2008 Beijing Olympic Games has started, according to Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG).
BOCOG will formally receive applications from enterprises in the middle of this month, and the approved franchisers have to pay an amount of charge, which accounts for 10 of their sales revenue.
The franchisers will sell franchised Olympic commodities and souvenirs. Such goods are only legally available in stores authorized by the committee only, including clothing, stationery, handicrafts and badges.
