AT&T to pay dividend when SBC deal closes
BEDMINSTER - AT&T Corp. said it expects to pay a special dividend of $1.30 per share in connection with the pending purchase of AT&T by SBC Communications Inc.
The dividend, which was announced earlier this year, will be paid to holders of record of shares of AT&T common stock immediately prior to the deal close.
