FED: Alleged US spy wanted $3 million from Australian Defence
SYDNEY, Nov 18 AAP - A US engineer embroiled in an espionage scandal allegedly sought
$3 million from Australian Defence officials to manufacture top secret technology for
the protection of RAAF aircraft.
Businessman Noshir Gowadia was last month charged with allegedly selling top secret
US B-2 stealth bomber technology to foreign powers.
He had allegedly asked Australian defence officials for $3 million to develop top-secret
infra-red suppression technology to protect RAAF aircraft, News Limited newspapers reported
today.
