CSRC Allows 5 More Firms to Do Overseas Futures Business

BEIJING, Nov 18, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) has approved the fourth batch of five state-owned companies to step into overseas futures markets, boosting the total number of that kind of companies to 31.

The five new companies include Luoyang Copper Processing Group Co. Ltd (LCPG), Yunnan Chihong Zinc & Germanium Co., Ltd. (SHSE: 600497), Shanxi Guanlu Co., Ltd. (SZSE: 000831), Western Mining Co., Ltd., and China National Textiles Import and Export Corporation (Chinatex).
