Belgium was expected on Tuesday to extradite to France the wife of confessed serial killer Michel Fourniret, wanted for her role in the suspected killings of 19 people who police believe were murdered by her husband.
Monique Olivier's lawyer, Sarah Pollet, told Belgian daily Le Soir that her client "did not oppose her transfer to France," to stand trial alongside Fourniret for the killings.
Olivier was to be transported to the Belgian-French border and then taken into custody by French police and taken to the northern French town of Laon, where she was to be arraigned later Tuesday, officials said.
