KUALA LUMPUR, Wed. - School holidays used to be fun. But no more, it

seems.
Today, children are not going on camping trips or picnics. Neither are

they visiting relatives in other States. They are going right back to

their books.

Many children are trooping to tuition centres so that they can get a

head start when the school term begins. And surprisingly, the decision to

go for tuition is not always that of the parents: many children ask to be

sent for tuition during the school holidays.
