China's Post Industry Suffers CNY 1.1bn Loss in 2004

BEIJING, Dec 22, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China's post industry totally suffered loss of CNY 1.1 billion in 2004, reported by the latest China Economic Census on December 16, 2005.

China had 1, 834 post companies with 675,000 employees in 2004. They achieved revenue from the major business of CNY 56.38 billion (USD 1 = CNY 8.06) while their liabilities-to-assets ratio was 24.6.
