During his 23-year career in Major League Baseball, Henry L. "Hank" Aaron
rewrote the game's hitting record book, holding more major league batting
records than any other player in history, including most home runs
(lifetime 755) and most runs batted in (lifetime 2,297).
The home run king will be among the featured guests at the upcoming Annual
Hank Aaron Celebrity Sports Weekend. He will be joined by soul crooner
Isaac Hayes and Ruby Wilson, the "Queen of Beale Street," for a gala dinner
at the Memphis Cook Convention Center on Thursday, Aug. 18, at 7 p.m.
