The era of the hybrid car has emerged. With the increasing price of
gasoline, the possible purchase of the fuel-efficient hybrids has become a
consideration to some consumers. But for others, the hybrid car is not an
affordable option.
Many of those that can afford a hybrid car are jumping on the hybrid
bandwagon. But they may be misinformed on its functions. Hybrids save
dollars on the fuel, but are more costly in other areas.
"Higher gas prices are acting as a catalyst for automakers and consumers to
find alternatives to the traditional gasoline internal combustion engine,"
