Vigil Brings Awareness Of Missing Woman

When 27-year-old Christie Wilson went missing from the Thunder Valley
Casino on October 5, local media outlets ran the story on their morning,
afternoon and evening news programs, search dogs were dispatched to trail
her scent, a $10,000 reward was offered for information on her whereabouts,
and her parents were seen on national television programs like The Early
Show and 48 Hours.

When Geneva Brewer, 31, went missing less than 24 hours before Ms. Wilson
she didn't even garner a report by the Sacramento County Sheriff's
Department.

Brewer's family and friends watch all the attention Wilson has gotten and
sympathize with her family, but wonder if skin color makes one ...
