Q. Why is parsley now being called cilantro instead of parsley? I know that cilantro is the Spanish name for parsley, but why doesn't anyone call it parsley anymore? Is this a yuppie thing, to be able to sell it for a higher price because of the fancier name?

Sandra Ortiz, Chicago

Q. Why on earth is flat parsley called "Italian"? Did they invent it? I don't think so! My God, you call everything Italian, even when the item is from another culture and has nothing to do with Italians and Italy.

K.P., New York, N.Y.
