Delegations from Chad and the World Bank ended three days of talks Wednesday aimed at resolving a dispute over oil revenues, apparently failing to reach a solution but agreeing to a new round of discussions.

The two delegations were to restart consultations after giving home officials a status report on the talks, a World Bank statement said. It called the discussions, which began Monday, "constructive" and said that both parties agreed to continue consultations.

The statement provided no date for a new round. The dispute on the use of oil revenues led to suspension of millions of dollars (euros) in World Bank loans to the Central African country.
