(The Daily Aztec) (U-WIRE) SAN DIEGO -- San Diego State University has experienced many free speech issues of its own, but the University of California, San Diego has been at the forefront of the most recent controversy.
At the center of the free speech firestorm is UCSD alumni Steve York, who aired a pornographic video on the school's closed-circuit student-run television last spring and fall. The hour-and-a-half video featured York -- who is editor of the satirical newspaper The Koala -- engaging in sexual acts with an adult film actress posing as a UCSD student.
The video sparked debates and divided campus opinion but, ultimately, UCSD Associated ...
