(Colorado Daily) (U-WIRE) BOULDER, Colo. -- Five more days did nothing to damper University of Colorado-Boulder's enthusiasm for the Rev. Al Sharpton. Sharpton's speech -- postponed after he missed a flight to Colorado last week -- was met with broad approval by an above-capacity crowd of at least 1,200 in CU's Glenn Miller Ballroom on Monday evening.
Sharpton delivered a biting array of one-liners and turns-of-phrase as he lambasted both Bush administrations and stated forcefully that the struggle for civil rights and equality in the United States isn't over.
