(Daily Mississippian) (U-WIRE) OXFORD, Miss. -- On days like Valentine's Day, some people celebrate being in a relationship and others despise those who celebrate. Valentine's Day is a time to embrace the one you love, even if that person is of another race. But Susan Glisson, director of the William Winter Institute for Racial Reconciliation at the University of Mississippi, said interracial relationships are still deemed unacceptable by a large segment of the population.
